Mad Science is the leading provider of children's science education and entertainment. Mad Science of Washington opened in 1995 by a husband-wife team, with teaching experience in MCPS schools. The staff of Mad Science has deep roots in the DC metro area, all of whom have attended school in the area. This gives us a unique perspective as educators, students, and parents in the area. Today, Mad Science of Washington averages approximately 150 workshops per month, many of which are tailored to meet curriculum standards. In addition, we run over 350 after-school enrichment classes, 250 assemblies, and over 700 birthday parties per year.
